I grew up in East German Strausberg, a small town near Berlin, and took my first photograph in 1990 in former Czecho-Slovakia. Since 2002 I live in the best city of the world: Berlin.
Born in 1983 I studied African Studies from 2002 on with a focus on visual history, Western African studio photography and South African magazine photography at Humboldt University Berlin. In 2007 I changed to a private photo school and graduated 2009 as a certified photo designer at Neue Schule für Fotografie.
For many years I’ve been active in a political European youth organization which gave me the chance to travel Europe and meet lots of interesting people. This lead me to become an event photographer and tour guide who teaches people how to use their camera properly years later.
